Monday July 11

Ok this is why I don't usually talk about guys. Because, they usually turn out to be jerks. Not that this last one was a jerk, but we just do not see eye to eye on things and they're not things I'm willing to let slide. So, I guess I'll keep on looking. On one hand I think it's harder when you have kids, because it makes you pickier, but maybe that's a good thing...right?!

We didn't really do much this weekend. Went shopping, out to eat a couple times, went swimming...nothing big. The boys got 3 new fish. They got a betta a few weeks ago and moved him into a bigger tank and wanted to get him some fish friends. We went online Friday night to see what other fish could go with a betta. All the ones we got were on the list, but he sure didn't like the tiger barb. He was ready to attack as soon as we put them together. So, I grabbed the net and got him out quickly. He is now back in his own little tank. And he's staying there - by himself. The betta's name is 'Smarty', we got a mollie named 'Dakota', the tiger barb is 'Stripe' and some other little black fish named 'Homerun'. And no, I'm not adding their names to the list on the top of our blog page. lol

I only have one daycare kiddo today, so it will be a nice, easy start to a new week.

The Hancock Co. Fair is all this week, so hopefully we will get there to look around and eat some yummy fair food. Isn't that just the best food in the world! I can't wait until the state fair. We haven't gone in a couple years and I'm sure the kids would enjoy it. We also haven't gotten down to an Indiana's game yet and I even bought the boys Knot hole club shirts and memberships so they could get in free...we have to go before the season is over. It's just finding the time...and energy after working all day.

They should be getting their trampoline in the next week or so, so that will be something new to keep them happy for awhile. Trust me, they're not children who have to go without!

That's about it for now... Please keep my grandfather in your prayers as he has cancer again and some other problems that just go with aging. Also pray for my grandma too as she is having to deal with his condition and the stress that it places on her. Thanks!

~Have a wonderful week~

It's July Already

Wow- I can't believe it. Summer is here and the months are going fast. I can't believe June is gone. Yippeeee I have the next 3 days off. I love waking up on Monday morning knowing if I don't want to get out of bed I don't have to!

I really don't have much news....I'm not as excited about the guy I met now...you know how it goes. I don't know... Mr. Right,(if there is such a thing) is probably either: 1. already in a bad marriage and stuck with a fat wife and 5 kids, 2. GAY, 3. lost and looking for me (and of course he won't ask for directions lol), 4. GAY, 5. caught up in some military inside secret mission and will be place in a witness protection program with some family on some Amish farm in Pennsylvania with 'Rebecca" and "Samuel" and their horse named "Chevy", or 6. He's gay!!

Actually I am very interested in the Amish people, I've found a great site with lots of Amish info on it. Here's the link: http://www.800padutch.com
I like to go to this site every now and then. I think it would be fun to live in an Amish community.

Movie Review Time:
Saw 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' - hated it.
Saw 'Monster In Law' - loved it.
Rented 'Miss Congeniality 2' - absolutely loved it.
Rented 'Are We There Yet' - loved it.

OK, and if I haven't mentioned it before....BRAD PAISLEY is a LIAR!!!!!!!! can't stand him! (and I hope I spelled his name wrong!)

Entertainment Review Time: Tom...what is up with him? Going off on Matt like that? Talking bad about Brooke? And Katie...just like me, he's not your Mr. Right...HE'S GAY!! I have online friends who have the real inside scoop on this...He's Gay!! You need to go back to the creek, sit down with yourself and think long and hard if this is worth the publicity stunt you're trying to pull? OH and Luther....God Bless him!! Poor Luther! I was so sad to see that he had passed today! Jer, it will never be the same when we listen to that cd for the 100th time in my car next time you come up! OK and props to Oprah...YUMMY!! She had Leonardo on her show today. YUMMY! Did I say that already? Ohhhh he is SOOOO cute! He is soooo adorable!! Was never a 'Titanic' fan, but boy now that he's 30 he sure is lookin fine!! OK and a thumbs up for RACHEL RAY...awesome chef!! Love that show!! Watch the Food Network at 1:30 my time (Indiana Time - Central Time) she's on and she's cookin!

That's about it for this week. As you can see, there's not much going on here. It's Friday night, we're here at home sitting in front of the computer or tv...so exciting! lol I hope we find something to do for the 4th of July! There's always the Greenfield fireworks. lol

~Happy Birthday America~
